Pathetic XP in GBs Options

well the topic says it all.

Why does everyone still play in GBs? The xp gain is pathetic...

Let me illustrate this through an example.
I do 190k dmg in a GB and get 32k xp for it on a gold account.
Now in a normal room bb1-4 I did 120k dmg and got 52k xp!!!!
Even if I only do 40-50k dmg i get 20k xp in a normal room.

Lets have more normal rooms! All types (bb1, bb1-2, bb1-3, etc.)

I would say people play GB as it is more varied. I used to play it because it was more fun than BB rooms, until they introduced locals that is.

Well, i can remember many players crying for light in GB rooms before locals where introduced. Don't see a great difference since then.

Its better training for Aiming and targetting. Also the Overview about the Map where is wich Enemy is in an GB much More Important than in an Line Drivng BB1 / 5 where u don´t evan get more then 10 guys in.

I don't like BB1-x rooms.
Partly because I'm not good at those, partly because GB is much more interesting.
I don't get the point of fighting against one single shipclass, where there could be so many.
It's like ordering a three-course menu and then just eat the peas.

Well, its not always about the exp. Its a game, to have fun. BB rooms are good for exp, to gain some skill but will make you only fight in line,when you in GB have always many more options, and even the light/no light thing, even it is irritating, makes the game more interesting.

I was myself looking into this to Compile my Findings after i asked Mr Hood SH (altharius) if SS exp had being nerfed scine NM as added

But Me Being the Greta Mathmatician Has Lost my Findings so i shall start it again

Could i ask for some Volenteers to Submit Their average Exp Gain in Certain Ships

i wish to Colaberate the EXp gained to Find the Average

and See if the New Exp is any Diffrent

so Send me a PM and i shall Hopefully Get some Findings out soon

so i can once and for all Prove TNF wrong

exp is the same,GB is just a bad place to get exp.
but GB is fun to play, if you get tired of the battle of the 2 BB fronts.

My record is set to 47k exp in 50GB. I had 150k dmg and sunk 3 bb5 in my Sodak. In the other battle i shot 170k sinking only smaller ships (bb3 max) and I got 30k. IMO it is strongly affected by the class of the ships you sunk. For example I did only 30k dmg to a Queen Vicki and I was awarded with 29k exp for a loss, driving Seva.

So many people play GB because of either the shared EXP or else the varied style unless you got a SS or CV, then you're mostly stuck with GBs.

If you want to level up fast and have mediocre playing skills, then Normal rooms are for you.

One thing I find soooo annoying is when BB5 go into Gbs and go north just so they can beat all the lower tiers ships cuz they're scared of a little challenge.

Wonderfull. Its not annoying for this BB5 Player to Farm all thoose guys Like I do. But didn´t u guys get the Point why some of us be able to Farm u?
Because nearly all of the Smaller guys just rush straight into me. Why shouldn´t I shoot at u? If there is no other Ship in my Range then sry but u are there.
At Least an Z99 (high lvl crew) can drive 64knts and Sink an BB4 easily with Premium Hedgehogs. So of course I shoot this guys.
If this small guys start to Act Like teamplayers. This means do AA or Anti Sub etcetera then ur Behind ur Capital Ships and not in Front of them. So no other Player is Able to FARM u.
Start playing as an Team and not as an Individual Guy in GB and u can have a Lot of Fun and also u Increase the Fun of ur Capital Ship´s. Biggest problem for BB´s are Subs. Why? Because Anti Sub ship´s are so rarely.
If there would be 5 ASW Ship´s per Side then ur BB´s don´t have to Fear Subs.

Woah, sorry Raguar if what I wrote wasn't clear.

I'm not actually talking about BBs shooting at other ship classes, I'd be stupid not to shoot a DD or whatever if there is nothing else in range epecially submarines, seeing as they can give the enemy side site and do damage to me.

I meant to say when A BB5 goes north to shoot at bb4 and below ships really annoys me when there are enemy BB5 going South. Fair enough if there is an enemy BB5 going north or if there are no BB5s to fight.
