How about implementing an sailor item in the shop allowing to reset the nationality of a whole crew but letting the vets/experts unaffected (maybe 12 sailors, a whole BB5 crew, or for every sailor seperately)?
I think it would be a great option for people who dont have the time to level a new crew all day long because of their work, their studies or for other reasons. Playing Blitz is fun again, of course, but regarding the time you need to get another bb5 crew makes me sick... Make it voluntary. I mean, if people want to level from level 1 again, ok, have fun, but as I said, it means soooo much time that many people dont have. And if your as a company think you lose too much money because of the people who dont buy any more experts/vets because of that just make it expensive. Personally, iŽd gladly trade in one of my current BB5 crews for a French (later Italian, Russian) one and pay even more than the price of the already very expensive "ship-tree-reset" item if it saves me so much time. So think about it. |

rec...
for those people with not much time @ hand... this is indeed a good idea... might be expensive item in the end though... and prove a bit difficult to implement... basicly: alter sailor nationality item... problem is... some sailors in certain nations are not available in others... and... the ability improvements per class... also differ per nation... -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

It would have to be very expensive though, think about how much money SDE can make when a player goes all the way through one nation's tree. The new sailor would have to account for that, remember that SDE's number one priority for Navyfield is making money.

NO REC!!!
are you insane. You just level up one time a BB5 and then go around all the others just buying crews. Start new crew, and go leveling up. If you ain't got that much time, do it slowly. you will get there anyway. -------------------- ![]() ![]() Be Aggressive. B-E Aggressive. B-E A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E. |

No rec for several reasons
e.g. different nation have different abilities (may be not so important if it would be resetted as well), crew sizes, growth rates, etc. If you let the crew sizes and growth rates untouched, you'll create unequal sailors. IJN and KM Gunner have a bigger crew size than uk gunner at lvl 120 (if I remember correctly - didn't check). Every nation with chief xxx (repairer, engi) has a bigger crew size than those with only 1st xxx (repairer, engi, etc). You could theoretically try to get all the advantages from every nation and put them together: KM ships with uk repairer or uk ships with km engis. KM AA Gunner converted to UK AA Gunner. And don't even get me started on the figther/bomber issue. This would just be the technical problem with your idea. It would imbalance the whole game. another reason would be that the new game content wouldn't be protected anymore, as you could easily convert your 120 km crew to a french or an upcoming italian or russian crew. Do you know the main reason for prohibiting to power level above level 25? I think it was yuno who explained it on NFNA like this: "it is meant to protect the new content of the game" (or similar...) -------------------- "Das Forum ist nicht als Beschwerdekasten sondern zum diskutieren da." - GM Quote ~ The forum is not meant for complaints but for discussions. |

Do you know the main reason for prohibiting to power level above level 25? "it is meant to protect the new content of the game" (or similar...) thought it was to prevent us from using overpowered FFY -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

rec
the more people do this the better esspecially the higher lvl people think of what it would be like if at 120 if you had a sailor that had stayed a sailor for all those lvls and that would be the lvl they would have to drop each lvl toto reset the effect is like having to class some AA gunners at lvl 80 which i hear so much about (lol) but all inclusive in all the sailor types |

Rec for the yellow name crew, give people a chance to fix stuff they screwed up back when they were new and hadn't spent a bunch of time researching the game. No rec after that. 1/2 rec?
